Through this partnership the process to donate any property type (land, homes, commercial) is straightforward. When you choose to make a gift of real estate to Shriners Children’s™, our program pays off all loans, liens, commissions owed, as well as closing costs, as long as there is equity in the home. If you have held your appreciated property for more than one year, you may also qualify for a federal income tax charitable deduction, eliminating capital gains tax.
